Mutti tomato puree is rich and velvety, made from only the best sun ripened Italian tomatoes retaining their bright red colour.
After being chopped and heated to a temperature of 90° the best tomatoes are carefully selected and centrifuged. During this process, the juice is separated from the seeds, the skin and finally the cellulose.
At this point, the concentration takes place by evaporation so as to maintain all the properties of the tomato.
The Mutti puree with its rustic character is ideal for pasta sauces and to flavour white meats.
